Kia ora, welcome to our blog. We are a class of Year 3 and 4 students, and our teacher's name is Mrs Humby. Our school is in Dobson, not far from Greymouth on the West Coast of New Zealand.
Dear Mrs G, Wow thank you so much for the wonderful choice of learning activities. There would be no time to be bored because there is something different that wil appeal to each of your individual learners. Your writing about painting your house in the holidays shows us that our ideas can come from anywhere. I do like the Anzac teddy bear learning activity. You can find out so much about what an Anzac soldier or nurse would look like and the reason for their uniform. Then I would have learnt about nursing or being a soldier in the war, created a uniform and taken a photo then everyone can see it even when we are in our own bubble. Kai Kaha Ruma 4
Dear Mrs G and Ruma 4, There is lots of choice with the type of learning you can involve yourself with this week. I wonder what I will see on the class blog this week after all the learning has taken place. I especially like the books that have been chosen for reading. I notice that some of the books are about birds. We have a lot of fantails in our backyard at the moment maybe that is because of the lockdown as well. I will read your blog post to see if I can find an answer to my wonderings about birds. Cheers
