A Fraction Feast
We are learning to identify fractions.

The class looked at the different elements used in art works.
Colour - Lines - Shapes - Texture - Form - Value - SPACE
We then looked at artwork created by Joan Miro and discussed which elements were used.
We created our own art works in the style of Joan Miro

Homonyms
We have been learning to identify the different meanings of tricky words which sound the same but are spelt in various ways.
It is important to know which is the correct spelling.

Instruction Writing
We worked with a buddy to write instructions for making some kai.
We then followed our written instructions and showed our classmates how to make the different foods.
We all had a go, made the food and ate it!
