Exploring Colour
After lockdown we explored colours.
We read Many Coloured Days by Dr Seuss and discussed how colours link to feelings.
We read the Black Book of Colours and wrote colour poems - check out our individual blogs.
We read Sky Colour by Peter H Reynolds and created sky-scapes using every colour except blue!
We investigated how rainbows are made CDS.

Guinea Pigs Visit to Ruma 4
Piglet, Pipsqueak and Rocky came to visit for the day.
The cute little guinea pigs hid in the hay, squeaked and let us have
cuddles (well Piglet did!)
We worked with a buddy and wrote short poems. They are published below.

First Aid - Thinking about how we can keep ourselves safe
Catherine from St Johns came to work with Ruma Wha.
We discussed how we can keep safe when riding bikes, scooters or skateboards.
The class dressed Fletcher in safety gear.
We learnt the 1-2-V of wearing a helmet safely - ask someone to explain.
